Floor Depot Plus guarantees stain resistance. The warranty lasts as long as you own the carpet, starting from the original installation in an owner-occupied residence (non-transferable).
Exclusions from the Limited Lifetime Stain Coverage
Lifetime Stain Guarantee excludes stains from substances like bleaches, caustic chemicals, insecticides, paints, shoe polish, lipstick, plant food, iodine, strong dyes, acids, feces, oil-based substances, and vomit. Exclusions also encompass carpets treated with silicone-based anti-soil treatments, nonresidential use, abnormal abuse, exposure to very hot substances, use of improper cleaning agents, and deterioration unrelated to pile fiber staining. Guarantee becomes void if recommended care and cleaning instructions are not followed. Immediate cleaning is essential for effective stain removal.

Floor Depot Plus assures that your carpet will resist common household soil. With proper maintenance, you can achieve thorough cleaning and minimal residue. This non-transferable warranty encompasses soil resistance from the installation date throughout your ownership. Soil resistance pertains to the carpet's capability to minimize or withstand the retention of typical dry dirt. Keep in mind that light-colored carpets may show soiling more than darker ones, necessitating more frequent maintenance for an optimal appearance.
Limited Lifetime Soil Guarantee Exclusions
Exclusions: Warranty void if carpet is treated post-installation with silicone-based anti-soil treatments, used in nonresidential settings, subjected to abnormal abuse, exposed to very hot substances, damaged by improper cleaning agents, or if appearance deteriorates unrelated to pile fiber staining. Voided warranty if recommended care and cleaning instructions are not followed.
Prompt cleaning upon stain discovery is crucial. The longer the delay, the more challenging stain removal becomes.
Limited Lifetime Abrasive Wear Warranty
Abrasive Wear
Floor Depot Plus guarantees that your carpet will experience no more than a 10% abrasive wear in any area when used in an owner-occupied residence with proper indoor installation, lasting for as long as you own it (non-transferable). Correct installation mandates a suitable pad with a thickness of 7/16" or less and a minimum 6-lb density, following the Carpet & Rug Institute Installation Standards effective October 1, 2009. Contact Floor Depot Plus for specific details. Abrasive wear, in this context, refers to fiber loss, not changes in appearance like crushing or matting.
Exclusions from the Limited Lifetime Abrasive Wear Guarantee
Carpet installed outdoors or in areas subject to other than ordinary shoe traffic is excluded from this warranty. Crushing caused by furniture, including impressions left by legs of furniture, is not covered by this warranty.
